Answer as a group

Create teams on Wooclap and let your participants collaborate and send answers as a group! Explore Answer as a group to boost collaboration!

Updated this week

How to use Wooclap's Answer as a group feature for group collaboration?

Answer as a group allows you to organize group work activities and compare the answers of your audience based on a specific segmentation. This feature is available to all Wooclap users

Activate Answer as a group

To activate Answer as a group and start creating teams, go into the ⚙️ Settings in the top right corner of the interface and then choose Answer as a group under Interactivity.

Once you are editing the Answer as a group settings, you can manage your groups. This will let you create and edit your teams.

Please note that the option Display participant usernames is automatically deactivated once Answer as a group has been switched on. In other words, this means that group names (and not usernames) will be visible on the projected screen for Brainstorming, Open questions and the Message wall

Display your Wooclap event

Once you start your event, participants will be invited to choose their team before accessing the first question.

☝️ Unless your event has been reset, previous participants will automatically be assigned to the team they chose last, including when answering questionnaires. Make sure you duplicate or reset the whole event (not just the questionnaire). Here’s how you can reset or duplicate your events.

Please note that for single answer questions, the answer of the team is the one sent by the fastest team member to answer. For multiple answers questions, each member of the team can send answers.

And that’s it! Now you’re ready to engage your audience and create even more interaction thanks to the Answer as a group feature!

Curious about the way scoring works on Wooclap once the Team mode and the Competition mode are used in your event? Take a look at this article! For all the other situations, scoring on Wooclap works as usual, even with Answer as a group - click here to find out more.
