How to create and customize MCQ questions in Wooclap?

MCQs are a fundamental tool to assess knowledge, gauge participant understanding, and promote active learning.

A Multiple Choice question must have at least one correct answer. It’s possible to add an image to the question and answers, and to add a sound to the question. It’s also possible to allow participants to add comments to explain their answers.

Create a MCQ

First, when you are in your event, click on New Question, choose the Multiple choice question type, under Assess Understanding.

Looking for inspiration? Head over to the template page and download one of the existing templates for the Multiple choice question type!

You can also import an already created Multiple choice questions from our Examples gallery. Head on to Examples gallery and choose Multiple choice under Question type. You can then add the MCQ of your choice to your event.

Customize the MCQ

Once you have opened your Multiple choice question type, you can personalize it and tailor it to your needs. Start by adding the question you want to ask.

Next, enter the several answers your audience can vote for. By clicking on the +, you can add more answers to the question.

Three options are available in the right-hand side menu: Multiple answers, the Allow comments and the Timer. The Allow comments option allows your participants to add comments to explain their answers.

When you are done preparing your question, you can either click on Save or Display now at the bottom of the screen to launch your Wooclap event.
