How to create and customize MCQ questions in Wooclap?

MCQs are a fundamental tool to assess knowledge, gauge participant understanding, and promote active learning.

A Multiple Choice question must have at least one correct answer. It’s possible to add an image to the question and answers, and to add a sound to the question. It’s also possible to allow participants to add comments to explain their answers.

Guide to set up MCQ in Wooclap

Create a MCQ

First of all, when you are in your event, choose the MCQ question type within the bar at the top of your dashboard.

Customize the MCQ

Once you have opened your MCQ question type, you can personalise it and tailor it to your needs. Start by adding the question you want to ask.

Next, enter the several answers your audience can vote for. By clicking on the +, you can add more answers to the question.

Three options are available in the right-hand side menu: Multiple answers, the Allow comments and the Timer. The Allow comments option allows your participants to add comments to explain their answers.

When you are done preparing your question, you can either click on Save or Display now at the bottom of the screen to launch your Wooclap event.

Launch the MCQ

Once you have clicked on Display now or Display, the question you have prepared will appear on your screen. You can then invite your participants to join your event and answer.
