Insert questions into your slide deck and let students run through the presentation at their own pace

About this setting

The "participant pace" allows you to share files and questionnaires with students which they can view on their own. However, these files and questionnaires can't be combined into one presentation with both the slides and the questions.

Thanks to this setting, students can view a presentation which contains slides as well as questions - at their own pace.


To use this setting, you must:

  • add a presentation to your event;

  • insert questions into that presentation (optional).

How it works

Once you've uploaded your presentation and inserted your questions, all that's left to do is to turn on the setting.

Step 1: Open the event settings

Start by clicking on the little gear in the top right corner of your screen to open the event settings.

Then, click on More settings.

Step 2: Turn on the setting and save

Scroll down to the Extra settings and turn on the setting named Show slides on participant devices asynchronously.

Step 3: Share the event's code with students

The preparations are now complete. Once you share the event's code with the students, they will be able to go through the presentation slide by slide while answering the questions where you have inserted them.
