Can I remove undesirable answers?

Use the open question (or word cloud) moderator to delete answers you'd rather not display in public

Updated over a week ago

The subject of this article is the Open question and Word cloud moderator. If you are looking for the Message wall moderator, with which you can edit, categorise, and delete the audience's questions, click here.

The Word cloud is a stimulating feature which allows students to express themselves freely, but while it can improve their learning, it also gives them the chance to disrupt the class with absurd or even rude answers.
Enter: the Word cloud moderator.

Step 1 : Turn on the moderator

When creating the question, activate the Moderator in the settings.

Step 2 : Start the question

Once you have started the question, incoming answers won't be displayed until you approve them. Access the moderator in the bottom right corner of the screen.

Step 3 : Moderate answers

In the moderator, displayed on the right side of the screen, you will find all the audience's answers. You can view them all or choose to view only those you have not yet dealt with.

Approve an answer by clicking on its "v" button and it will be displayed on-screen in real-time.

To delete an answer, click on the bin next to it.

If the "likes" are active, students will be able to see and like only the answers you have approved. Those which you have deleted or not yet dealt with will not be accessible.
