The Word cloud and Open question are stimulating features that allow participants to express themselves freely. While it can improve their learning, it also gives them the chance to disrupt the session with absurd or even rude answers. Enter: the Word cloud and Open question moderator.

Step 1: Create your Word Cloud or Open question
The first step is to create your Word Cloud or Open question. Discover how to create your Word Cloud to capture real-time audience themes here: Word Cloud. Discover how to create your Open question for longer, detailed responses here: Open question.
Note that answer moderation is turned on by default, allowing you to review and approve responses before they are displayed publicly.
Step 2: Display the question
Once you have created your question, you can display it by clicking on Display Now. Incoming answers will be displayed in a grid view, list view, or Word Cloud. You can choose the preferred view on the left side of the screen.
Step 3: Moderate answers
You can hover over participants' answers and decide to hide them by clicking on the eye icon. From there, hidden answers will be available from the barred eye icon at the bottom right of the screen.
You can bring back a hidden answer by clicking on the arrow to the right of the term in the Hidden answers section.
☝️ This lets you declutter the grid, list, and word cloud views and makes it easier to look at all the received answers. Answers are not removed from participants' screens.
