Configure Wooclap as an LTI 1.3 tool
⚠️ You need to be logged in as an administrator on Moodle in order to add an external tool with LTI 1.3.
⚠️ Moodle must be at version 3.7.0 or higher in order to use LTI Advantage.
Using Dynamic Registration
⚠️ Before starting the Dynamic Registration process, make sure your Wooclap contact has provided you with a Configuration ID, as it will be required for the registration.
Register the LTI 1.3 configuration on Moodle
1. Go to Site administration > Plugins > External tools > Manage tools
2. In the Manage tools section, enter the Dynamic Registration URL, then click the Add LTI Advantage button to confirm

3. The following LTI 1.3 Dynamic Registration form will appear.
4. Fill in the required information in the form:
Configuration ID – The Configuration ID provided by your Wooclap contact for the Dynamic Registration.
Organization name – Your organization's name.
Language – The default language used by your organization's users.
Country – The default country assigned to your organization's users.
Admin email – The email address of an administrator in your organization, so our team can contact you in case of an issue.
⚠️If the Configuration ID has not yet been provided to you, contact your Wooclap representative to obtain it.
5. The LTI 1.3 tool has been added to your integrations.
6. Enable the Wooclap LTI 1.3 tool to make it available to your teachers by clicking the Activate button.
7. The tool is now available to your teachers.
Using Manual Registration
Create the LTI 1.3 configuration on Moodle
1. Go to the Site administration section
2. Then, in the Plugins tab, click on the Manage tools item
3. On the tool management page, you will find the option for configuring an external tool.
4. On the configuration tool page, please provide the following information

⚠️ Do not forget to enable the Supports Deep Linking (Content-Item Message) option to have the best experience.
5. Configure the services access
IMS LTI Assignment and Grade Services | Use this service for grade sync and column management |
IMS LTI Names and Role Provisioning | Use this service to retrieve members' information as per privacy settings |

6. Set up the privacy to allow data to be exchanged between Moodle and Wooclap

Provide the created LTI 1.3 configuration to Wooclap
Once you have registered the external tool (Wooclap), you need to provide the details of this configuration to Wooclap.
1. Go to the page Dashboard > Site administration > Plugins > Activity modules > External tool > Manage tools
On this page, you can retrieve your existing external tools and the Wooclap you previously created. Click on the List icon of your external configuration to open the configuration details
2. A pop-in should be displayed to give you the configuration details
Provide the following information to your Wooclap contact with the mail template below:
Platform ID
Client ID
Deployment ID
Public keyset URL
Access token URL
Authentication request URL
