About this tutorial

This tutorial shows you how to combine Wooclap with PowerPoint, Keynote, and PDF presentations. If you use Google Slides, check out this tutorial.

Step 1: Add the file
Click on Add presentation to select the file you will be presenting. It may take a few minutes for the file to upload and convert. The size of your file must not exceed 50 MB.

For the time being, notes which you added to your presentation will not be converted. You must add them to each slide once the presentation has been uploaded on Wooclap.

When adding a presentation on Wooclap, its slides are converted into images, which means you lose all the animations, hyperlinks, GIF's and videos they contain. If you use PowerPoint, there is an alternative: you can use the PPT add-in to insert questions directly into your PPT file. No need to upload it onto Wooclap!

Step 2: Insert the questions
Once the file has been converted, click on Insert questions.
To insert a question, select it on the right side of the screen, then drag and drop it in between slides of your presentation (we recommend inserting "0. How to participate?" as the first slide).
You can see a preview of any slide or question on the left side of the screen.

Click on Save at the bottom of the screen to save the changes.

💡 Tip!

It's possible to exceed the 50 MB limit by splitting your presentation into several parts. Each part must not exceed 50 MB.

Add the various files and wait for them to be uploaded and converted. You can see the different presentations that have been uploaded by clicking on the drop-down menu in the right-hand side menu.

By selecting one of the presentations, you can start inserting your Wooclap questions. We recommend that you add all your Wooclap questions in each presentation before you start presenting.

You are now ready to start your presentation. Presentations will follow the order established in the dropdown menu.

Step 3: Start the presentation
Click on Start next to your presentation, and use the right arrow to move from slide to slide. Once you reach a question, it will be displayed on the audience's screens for them to answer.

The end

You have successfully completed the final tutorial! I'd say that deserves a little cheer, perhaps even some applause. Enjoy that "woooooooclap" sound, it might start sounding familiar!
